This posting is a resume deposit box for candidates interested in PERMANENT positions on Canada oil tanker ships as Chief Engineer, and it is not necessarily a specific role to fill.
Multiple canadian ship companies can request candidates from this box and upon agreement with the candidates, the documents would then be forwarded directly with HR or crewing managers of the hiring ship company.
It is possible the candidate might be contacted for a 2nd engineer position, also on oil tanker ships, due to the fact that canadian employers rarely hire directly Chief Engineers but rather 2nd engineer then promote them to chief position.
Candidates are contacted only for permanent position.
